Sun Moon Zygarde Cells

Our Zygarde Cells guide will cover each of the cells and cores for the Zygarde Cube located in Pokemon Sun and Moon. There are various cells located across Alola. Some appear to only be available during either the day or night cycle, but not both. If you are unable to find one, assume it is available during the next cycle of the day. This guide will cover all Zygarde Cell Locations as well as Zygarde Core Locations once complete. Be sure to check back soon for more information!

Zygarde Cells Guide

  1. Enter the Tide Song Hotel. Head to the back left corner to find a sparkling thing on the floor. Examine it to get a Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  2. In the field south of the Paniola Ranch sign will be tall grass and several man-made slopes. Head right when you first enter the tall grass to find a small sparkling thing on the ground. Examine it to get a Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  3. To the right of the Battle Dome will be a parking lot. There will be two vehicles, an empty space, and a red vehicle. In the empty space will be a sparkling area that you can examine. The Zygarde Cell will be sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  4. Head to Route 8 from Route 7 and continue along the road. Shortly after getting to Route 8, there will be a white building. Examine the ground beside the stands farthest from the road to have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  5. Head to Route 5 from Route 8 and head south down the path. Continue south and hop down the first ledge. Now go left and you will see two Pokemon holes and a trainer to the south. Keep to the north and you will find a spot to examine below the yellow Item Ball. This appears to happen during the day cycle and you will have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  6. Head to Konikoni City and in the back will be several Pikachu and a sign that says, "Lighthouse Point." This Zygarde Cell is located right between the Pikachu and the sign. This appears to happen during the night cycle and you will have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  7. Follow Route 9 until you start heading north. There will be a trainer dressed up like a fighter. Head left from here to find a spot to examine. This appears to happen during the night cycle and the Zygarde Crystal will be sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  8. Head to the Dimensional Research Lab. The Zygarde Cell will be located near the satellite dishes out front. This appears to happen during the night cycle and the Zygarde Cell be will sucked into your Zygarde Cube once you examine the spot.
  9. There is a spot you can examine under one of the first umbrellas you find on Hano Beach. This appears to happen during the night cycle. Examine the spot and the Zygarde Cell will be sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  10. Go to the Pokemon Center in Tapu Village. Head south until you reach the end with the two NPCs. The Zygarde Cell is between them. This appears to happen during the day cycle. You will get the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube once you examine this spot.
  11. Enter the Aether House and go inside the room on the left. This Zygarde Cell will be located on the bookcase with the balloons on it. Examine it and the Zygarde Cell with be sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  12. Near the entrance to the Pokemon Center on Route 16 will be a Zygarde Cell. This appears to happen during the day cycle. Examine it to get the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  13. Go to the north of Po Town and head to the northeast part of town to find a truck slight south of the last building. There will be a Zygarde Cell beside it. Examine it to have it sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  14. Go to the northeast part of the docks of Seafolk Village. There will be an empty space with construction material. This Zygarde Cell is located here. Examine it to have it sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  15. On the side of the Pokemon Research Lab will be the Zygarde Cell. Examine it to have it sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  16. This Zygarde Cell is located near the start of Route 1 if coming from your house. After you past the first couple patches of grass near the small cliff will be a sparkling spot. This is also near the ocean and the corner of the map. Examine it to have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  17. Use Tauros to break the rocks at the top of Route 1 in order to enter the area to the south. Travel back east and near the top center of this area will be the Zygarde Cell located underneath a tree. Examine it to have it sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  18. Head north to Route 3 from Route 1. This Zygarde Cell is located underneath the tree by the patch of grass. This is the tree to the left of the one with the berries. Examine the sparkling spot to have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  19. Head north across the bride on Route 3 coming from Route 1. This Zygarde Cell is located slightly north of the trainer once you cross the bridge. Examine it to have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  20. This Zygarde Cell is located inside the Verdant Cavern on Route 2 at the far back near the last spot that Pokemon hide. Examine it to have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  21. Head to the hotel on Route 2 and go to the far west part of it to find this Zygarde Cell. Examine it to have it sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the night cycle.
  22. This Zygarde Cell is located on the northwest side of the Hau’oli Cemetery beside a grave maker. Examine it to have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  23. Go to the large house on the southwest part of Hau’oli City. This Zygarde Cell will be located to the far left on the bottom floor. Examine it to have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  24. Head to the Pokemon Center in Hau’oli City and the Zygarde Cell will be to the left of the entrance outside. Examine it to have it sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the night cycle.
  25. Outside the Ruins of Conflict to the right of the entrance will be this Zygarde Cell. Examine it to have it sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  26. Head to the Lush Jungle where one of the Island Challenges took place. Head to the far right and you will find a large square rock. Push it south with Machamp and continue along the path to the next area. The Zygarde Cell will be located before you get to the next large square rock. Examine it to get it sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  27. Head to the beach on Route 7. Use Lapras or Sharpedo to go across the water to the northern beach. The Zygarde Cell will be located near the large rock on this beach. Examine it to get it sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  28. Head to Hano Beach and continue until you fight the small life guard stand in the patch of grass. This Zygarde Cell is located at the bottom of the life guard stand. Examine it to get it sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  29. Head to the Recycling Plant in the Outer Cape. This Zygarde Cell will be near the truck parked on the side. Examine it to have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  30. Head to Blush Mountain and go to the entrance of the Geothermal Power Plant. This Zygarde Cell will be to the right of the Geothermal Power Plant sign. Examine it to have the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  31. This Zygarde Cell is located to the left of the Ruins of Abundance entrance. Examine it to have it sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  32. This Zygarde Cell is located on the patch of grass near the guy with memory issues in Haina Desert. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  33. Head to Mount Lanakila and go up the first elevator. This Zygarde Cell is located between the first patch of grass and the second patch once you take the first elevator. It will be beside a small rock on the left side of the screen. Examine it to get the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  34. Head to the Pokemon Center outside of the Pokemon League. Go all the way to the left and this Zygarde Cell will be located near a rock before you have to go north. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  35. Head to the restaurant in Seafolk Village and look at the bottom of the far left table to find this Zygarde Cell. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  36. This Zygarde Cell is located behind the well next to the first house on Ancient Poni Path. Examine it to get the Zygarde Cell sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  37. Head to the Poni Breaker Coast and you will find this Zygarde Cell located near the water spout to the right. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  38. Head to the Ruins of Hope and go down the hill, but not into the door to the north. This Zygarde Cell will be located south of this door. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  39. Head to Poni Grove from the Ancient Poni Path. Continue north once you enter and keep going until you must head east. Do not head east as this Zygarde Cell is located near the cliff to the north. This appears to happen during the day cycle. Examine it to get the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  40. Head to Poni Grove from Ancient Poni Path. Continue north once you enter and keep going until you must head east. Now go southeast along the trial until you have to start going north again, but do not go north. This Zygarde Cell should be located right near a bush before you go north. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  41. Head to Poni Plains from Poni Grove. Continue north towards the sign and halfway to it will be a tree with a bush next to it on the left. This Zygarde Cell is located to the right of the tree. Examine is to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cell. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  42. Head to Poni Grove and continue to the northwest until you reach the rocky area in the corner. Use Tauros to traverse to small area to the north and continue south – jumping down the small ledges. Before you jump down the last one, this Zygarde Cell will be located in between the last 2 ledges. Examine it to have the strange creature absorbed into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  43. Head to the Poni Coast from Poni Grove and continue north following the right path. Use Tauros to smash the rocks and this Zygarde Cell will be located slightly northeast of the rocks. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cell. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  44. Head to Poni Coast from Poni Grove and continue down the center path. Use Tauros to break any rocks in your way. This Zygarde Cell will be located on the left path once you break the boulders. This appears to happen during the day. Examine it to have the strange creature absorbed into your Zygarde Cube.
  45. Head to the Poni Gauntlet from Poni Coast and continue to the north on the right side. At the end will be the Zygarde Cell shortly before the sign. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  46. Head down the left trail on Poni Gauntlet until you reach the Black Belt near the bridge. This Zygarde Cell is located on the bridge right past the Black Belt. Examine is to have the strange creature absorbed into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  47. Head to Poni Meadow and continue all the way you are able to reach the cave at the end. Do not enter the cave. Instead, turn and go south and jump down the ledges. The last ledge has the Zygarde Cell located on it. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube. This appears to happen during the day cycle.
  48. Enter Resolution Cave from Poni Meadow and continue until you have to use Mudsdale. Take the path to the south once you start climbing the harsh terrain with Mudsdale. Continue directly south as far as possible and take the trail to the right. Continue right until you see another cave entrance. This Zygarde Cell is located on the right wall near this entrance. Examine it to have the strange creature absorbed into your Zygarde Cube.
  49. Continue from the previous Zygarde Cell and go north into the next cave entrance. Continue north and head up onto a small plateau. This Zygarde Cell is located in the center of this small plateau. Examine it to have the strange creature absorbed into your Zygarde Cube.
  50. Enter Vast Poni Canyon and enter the cave. Use Tauros to make it to the exit at the top of the cave and go across the bridge. Enter the second cave and this Zygarde Cell will be located near a small rock slight north upon entering this cave. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  51. Go to the Vast Poni Canyon and continue until you reach the third cave. Head down the slope to find several Pokemon scattering around the ground. This Zygarde Cell is located in between the dens that the Pokemon are coming out of and should be examined to have the strange creature absorbed into your Zygarde Cube.

Zygarde Cores Guide

  1. After completing the Pokemon League, you will start in your room after the cutscene. There will be a sparkling spot underneath the desk. Examine it to the get the Zygarde Core sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  2. Go inside Kahuna Hala’s house and go into the top right door. You will see a sparkling spot outside of the door in this room. Examine it to get the Zygarde Core sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  3. Head into the shop in front of the Pokemon Center in Konikoni City. Go upstairs and the Zygarde Core will be locate in the back of the room near the trash can. Examine it to have the Zygarde Core sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  4. This Zygarde Core is located inside the Police Station near Po Town near the back wall. Examine it to get the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
  5. Head inside the first house on the Ancient Poni Path and go into the far right door. This Zygarde Core will be located in the back on the room. Examine it to have the strange creature sucked into your Zygarde Cube.
