Pokken Tournament Cheer Skills
In Pokken Tournament, your assistant Nia serves as a cheerleader of sorts that can boost your battle performance as she learns different skills. These Pokken Tournament Cheer Skills will be unlocked as you progress through the game and different Cheer Skills will cater to different battle styles.
Nia's Cheer Skills
Standard Cheer Skill
Active: From second round onward
Description: If you lose, Synergy Gauge will increase, and both Support Gauges will be pushed to MAX! The effect is much smaller if you win, but this is still a great fallback to have!
How to Unlock Standard Cheer Skill
The Standard Cheer Skill is unlocked from the start of the game.
Synergy Focused Cheer Skill
Active: Every round
Description: Your Synergy Gauge will increase each round, regardless of whether you win or lose. Worth noting that this has no effect on Support Gauges, however!
How to Unlock Synergy Focused Cheer Skill
The Synergy Focused Cheer Skill is unlocked after winning the Green League Tournament.
Pressure Focused Cheer Skill
Active: Final Round
Description: Greatly increses Synergy Gauge for the final round, regardless of whether you just won or lost! Comes highly recommended for Pokemon that have trouble building Synergy Gauge.
How to Unlock Pressure Focused Cheer Skill
The Pressure Focused Cheer Skill is unlocked after winning the Green League Tournament.
Support Focused Cheer Skill
Active: From second round onward
Description: Support Gauges increase to MAX regardless of whether you just won or lost! Worth noting that this has no effect on Synergy Gauge, however!
How to Unlock Support Focused Cheer Skill
The Support Focused Cheer Skill is unlocked after winning the Blue League Tournament.
Special Cheer Skill
Active: From second round onward
Description: Increases Synergy Gauge if you win, and pushes Support Gauge to MAX if you lose! You'll need a solid strategy to make good use of this extreme effect!
How to Unlock Special Cheer Skill
The Special Cheer Skill is unlocked after winning the Red League Tournament.
Whimsical Cheer Skill
Active: Every round
Description: The Cheer Effect you receive will change every round. You might win big! Or not! Are you feeling lucky?
How to Unlock Whimsical Cheer Skill
The Whimsical Cheer Skill is unlocked after winning the Chroma League Tournament.
