Pokken Tournament Support Pokemon

Our Pokken Tournament Support Pokemon guide is a list of Support Pokemon in Pokken Tournament. There are 15 unique support sets for a total of 30 unique support Pokemon. Support sets are paris of Pokemon that must always be used together. You are locked to one support set per battle and one support Pokemon per round. Three sets are available from the start of the game, the rest must be unlocked.

Emolga and Fennekin

Effect: A quick, long-distance attack. Effective against ranged opponents.

Fennekin

Name: Ember
Type: Disrupt

Damage: 50
Status: None
Effect: A multi-hitting dome-shaped attack. Effective at pushing opponents back.

Snivy and Lapras

Name: Leaf Tornado
Type: Attack

Status: None
Effect: Aims at an opponent and performs an anti-air attack. Effective against opponents who jump often.

Lapras

Name: Surf
Type: Attack
Charge Time: Average
Damage: 141
Status: None
Effect: A wide and powerful charging attack. Can nullify some long-distance attacks.

Frogadier and Eevee

Status: None
Effect: Fires water pellets over a long distance. Effective when striking from long range.

Eevee

Name: Helping Hand
Type: Enhance
Charge Time: Average
Damage: 0
Status: Attack Increased
Effect: Provides a temporary boost to attack. Also recovers a small amount of HP.

Cubone and Diglett

Name: Bonemerang
Type: Attack

Status: None
Effect: Performs a long-distance attack that comes back. Can be used to pull the opponent in close.

Diglett

Name: Dig
Type: Attack
Charge Time: Fast
Damage: 148
Status: None
Effect: Heads toward opponent and attacks from below. Easy to aim for a combo after it hits.

Jirachi and Whimsicott

Type: Enhance

Status: Synergy Burst Enhanced
Effect: Temporarily enhanced Synergy Burst. Also increases Synergy Gauge (medium).

Whimsicott

Name: Subsitute
Type: Enhance
Charge Time: Average
Damage: 0
Status: None
Effect: Temporarily protects against some long-distance attacks. Also recovers a small amount of HP.

Croagunk and Sylveon

Croagunk

Name: Toxic
Type: Disrupt

Status: Defense Decreased
Effect: Stops in place and attacks opponents who come near. Effective against opponents who run around a lot.

Sylveon

Name: Reflect
Type: Enhance
Charge Time: Average
Damage: 0
Status: Defense Increased
Effect: Provides a temporary boost to defense. Also heals a small amount of HP.

Pachirisu and Magikarp

Effect: Can eradicate some long-distance attacks. Effective when you want to get in close.

Magikarp

Effect: Performs a drop attack when hit by an opponent. Effective for interrupting combos.

Effect: An attack that slowly advances forward. Also boost attack.

Ninetales

Name: Will-O-Wisp
Type: Disrupt

Damage: 69
Status: Attack Decreased
Effect: Launches a timed attack in front of you. Useful in preventing your opponent from drawing close.

Rotom and Togekiss

Effect: Unleashes a Homing Attack on airborne oppoenents. Effective against opponents who jump often.

Togekiss

Charge Time: Normal
Damage: 0
Status: Speed Increased
Effect: Temporarily boosts your speed. Also recovers some HP.

Farfetch'd and Electrode

Effect: Performs a flurry of attacks toward the opponent. Attack together to rush down your opponent.

Electrode

Name: Explosion
Type: Disrupt

Damage: 160
Status: None
Effect: Performs a counter upon defending an opponent's attack. Both powerful and a great defensive move.

Dragonite and Victini

Effect: Performs a multi-hitting attack over a wide area. Powerful and creates an opening to attack.

Victini

Name: V-create
Type: Enhance
Charge Time: Slow
Damage: 0
Status: All Critical Hits
Effect: Temporarily makes all attacks critical hits. Also recovers HP (S) and increases Synergy Gauge (S).

Espeon and Umbreon

Espeon

Name: Morning Sun
Type: Enhance
Charge Time: Fast
Damage: 0
Status: None
Effect: Removes negative statuses and recovers HP. The less time reamining, the more HP you recover.

Umbreon

Name: Snarl
Type: Disrupt
Charge Time: Slow
Damage: 55
Status: No Critical Hits
Effect: An area attack that absorbs opponetn's Synergy Gauge. Temporarily prevents opponents from performing critical hits.

Reshiram and Cresselia

Name: Blue Flare
Type: Attack

Status: Attack Decreased
Effect: Unleashes an almighty straight-line attack forward. Powerful enough to completely change the battle.

Cresselia

Name: Lunar Dance
Type: Enhance
Charge Time: Fast
Damage: 0
Status: None
Effect: Heals negative statuses, recovers HP (L) and Synergy Gauge (L). Can onlly be called once per round.

Magneton and Quagsire

Type: Attack

Status: Negative Status x2
Effect: Performs a long-distance attack diagonally upward. Effective against opponents with a strong air game.

Quagsire

Name: Mud Bomb
Type: Attack
Charge Time: Slow
Damage: 120
Status: None
Effect: A powerful area attack that hits opponents on the ground. Causes a lot fo damage even if it is blocked.

Magneton and Quagsire are unlocked by winning the Red League tournament.

Yveltal and Latios

Pokken Tournament Yveltal Latios

Yveltal

Name: Oblivion Wing
Type: Attack
Charge Time: Slow
Damage: 120
Status: No Synergy Burst
Effect: A destructive area attack fired down from the sky. Powerful and also seals off opponent's Synergy Burst.

Latios

Name: Luster Purge
Type: Disrupt
Charge Time: Average
Damage: 40
Status: Defense Decreased
Effect: Searches out opponents and places attacks around them. Does not hit them directly but restricts their movements.
