Mew, Jirachi, Darkrai, and More to be Distributed in 2016 for 20th Anniversary
In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Pokémon franchise in 2016, eleven mythical Pokemon distributions have been revealed. Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Darkrai, Manaphy, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Genesect, and Meloetta will all get free distributions via Gamestop serial codes or the Nintendo network. Starting in February with Mew, one mythical Pokemon will be available to owners of X and Y versions or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire versions per month. Each Pokemon will be Level 100 and be in a Cherish Ball. Keep reading after the break for more details and a full schedule.
- Mew - February 1 through February 24 - Serial codes will be distributed at Gamestop.
- Celebi - March 1 through March 24 - Distributed through the Nintendo Network.
- Jirachi - April 1 through April 24 - Distributed through the Nintendo Network.
- Darkrai - May 1 through May 24 - Serial codes will be distributed at Gamestop.
- Manaphy - June 1 through June 24 - Distributed through the Nintendo Network.
- Shaymin - July 1 through July 24 - Distributed through the Nintendo Network.
- Arceus - August 1 through August 24 - Serial codes will be distributed at Gamestop.
- Victini - September 1 through September 24 - Distributed through the Nintendo Network.
- Keldeo - October 1 through October 24 - Distributed through the Nintendo Network.
- Genesect - November 1 through November 24 - Serial codes will be distributed at Gamestop.
- Meloetta - December 1 through December 24 - Distributed through the Nintendo Network.
