Solgaleo and Lunala Revealed as Legendary Pokemon in Sun and Moon
Legendary Pokémon from the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon Solgaleo and Lunala were revealed in a trailer earlier today. Solgaleo, native to Pokemon Sun, is a Psychic/Steel type Pokemon with the ability Full Metal Body that prevents Solgaleo's stats from being lowered. Pokemon Moon's native legendary, Lunala, is a Psychic/Ghost type Pokemon. It's ability Shadow Shield reduces damage taken when the Pokemon is at full HP.
Details about the Alola Region, the new region for the seventh generation, were revealed today as well. Alola will feature four tropical islands and one man-made island to explore. Professor Kukui is the region's Pokemon Professor who will assist you in your adventure. NPCs and potential rivals Lillie and Hau will also play an important role in the story.
Pokemon Sun and Moon are set to release exclusively to 3DS on November 18, 2016. The estimated MSRP for the new generation of Pokemon will be $39.99.
