Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl versions were revealed on February 26, 2021. They are 8th generation remakes of the 4th generation Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. As such, they take place in the Sinnoh region. They feature a somewhat controversial chibi art style that seeks to maintain the scale of the original games.
