As with all pairs of Pokemon games, there are version exclusive Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This means that these Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Version Exclusives can only be found natively in one version of the game. These Pokemon can, of course, be traded between the games freely. For each exclusive Pokemon in one game, there is typically an equivalent in the other with similar typing and pokedex number. The Pokemon are listed in National Pokedex order.
