If you've caught more than 50 Pokemon, the assistant here will give you the Assistant Set of clothes. Head west into Fuchsia City.

Route 18
Route 18 is short and sweet. You can do some surfing off the coast here to catch some Water-type Pokemon if you'd like. Otherwise pass through the building here. In this fenced off area with a patch of grass, you can battle Bird Keeper Wilton, Bird Keeper Ramiro, and Bird Keeper Jacob. You can pick up an Elixir here as well. Head right to get back to Fuchsia City.
Fuchsia City
Head to the Pokemon Center and heal up if you need. Head to the east side of town and enter the house on the right. Exit through the back and grab the Super Lure from the backyard. Enter the park to the north and head left to speak to the man by the Lapras. He'll teach your partner the Special Technique Sea Skim that will let you surf accross water. If you have Pokemon Go on a smartphone, you can use the GO Park to the north to transfer your Pokemon. Otherwise, head to the gym on the south side of town!
Fuchsia City Gym
In order to enter the gym, you'll need to have caught at least 50 different species of Pokemon. Fuchsia City Gym is the Poison-type gym, so we recommend using a Ground or Psychic type to counter that. You should also pick up some Antidotes in preparation. There are invisible walls in this room, so you'll need to navigate around them to get to Gym Leader Koga. You'll be able to see the walls when the fog rises, so just wait for that to happen. Trainers in this gym are: Tamer Phil, Ace Trainer Kaden, Juggler Kirk, Juggler Harry, Tamer Edgar, and Ace Trainer Annie.
Gym Leader Koga of course uses Poison-type Pokemon. A strong Ground or Psychic type leveled to the upper 40s should make this battle a breeze, especially if you've already beaten the Saffron City Gym. Koga has a Lv. 43 Weezing, a Lv. 44 Venomoth, a Lv. 43 Golbat, and a Lv. 43 Muk. Once you've defeated him you'll receive the Soul Badge. He'll also reward you with TM27 - Toxic.
