Chapter 27: Epilogue

The final part of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, known as the "Epilogue" starts with a mystery gift distribution. You can acquire this gift by going to Poké Portal -> Mystery Gift -> Get via Internet. If you do so you will receive a Mythical Pecha Berry. Once you have this in hand, fly on over to Mossui Town in Kitakami.
Once in Mossui Town head east to Peachy's shop where you will see a plushie looking object sitting on the counter. Investigate it and it will seem to activate because of your mythical berry. You'll then get a call from Arven who wants to meet you at your house in Paldea. Once you turn around after the call you'll notice that the mysterious plushie has dissapeared.
Fly back to your house in Cabo Paco where you'll meet Arven, Nemona, and Penny outside. After they all invite themselves in and enjoy a meal, your mom will bring you a letter from Kieran. He invites you and all your Paldean friends to visit him once again in Kitakami. They'll all agree to join you and then head out.
Mochi Mayhem
Fly over to Mesagoza (South) where you agreed to meet. You'll all head back to Mossui Town together and be greeted by the Caretaker. You'll then want to head over to Kieran's House just to the north. Nemona will challenge Kieran to a battle outside the Community Center, so go back there to see the aftermath. You'll then be joined by Carmine who seems to be posessed. You'll take her back to her house for her own safety. Kieran will then reveal that this has been going on for awhile and the other town members believe she is cursed.
You decide to deal with the curse tomorrow and have a party at the Community Center tonight instead. Head back there and go inside for your party which begins by searching for the remote to change the TV channel. You'll find it in a potted plant to the right. Nemona will go and get herself lost, so you'll need to go outside and speak to some townsfolk to find out where she went. Unfortunately they've been cursed as well.
You'll need to defeat these cursed townsfolk in a double battle. They have a Lv. 79 Salazzle, a Lv. 79 Ariados, a Lv. 79 Victreebel, and a Lv. 79 Noctowl. After winning the battle, you'll see Nemona up ahead but she'll run off out of town. Follow her east up to Kitakami Hall, you can just fly there if you'd like.
You'll find Kieran's grandparents up here, who will promptly eat some Mochi and become cursed. You'll need to defeat them in a double battle as well. They have a Lv. 80 Arbok, a Lv. 82 Chandelure, a Lv. 82 Mamoswine, and a Lv. 80 Weezing. Based on their team you would think they were members of Team Rocket in a past life. After winning you'll get a call from Arven and it sounds like him and Penny are in trouble.
Head back to Peachy's Store to find them completely fine. Once there though, you'll see a mysterious Pokémon who launches mochi at you which happens to land in the mouth of Arven and Penny. You'll need to defeat them in a double battle now too. Together they have a Lv. 82 Greedent, a Lv. 83 Mabosstiff, a Lv. 82 Cloyster, a Lv. 84 Umbreon, a Lv. 85 Sylveon, and a Lv. 84 Leafeon. After the battle, the mysterious Pokémon will run off and Kieran will chase after it.
Fly on over to Loyalty Plaza where they went. You'll find a cursed Nemona here alongside the mysterious Pokémon causing this mayhem. Oh and a whole town of cursed townspeople behind you. Kieran will handle them so you'll need to battle Nemona yourself. She has a full team, so this will be the most challenging cursed battle yet. She uses a Lv. 86 Lycanroc, a Lv. 86 Pawmot, a Lv. 86 Kommo-o, a Lv. 86 Goodra, a Lv. 86 Ribombee/Milotic/Dusknoir, and a Lv. 87 Quaquaval/Meowscarada/Skeledirge. She will Terastallize her starter Pokémon. She uses some tricky tactics too, like setting up a Stealth Rock at the beginning of the battle.
Pecharunt
After defeating Nemona you'll want to heal up your team and then take on the mysterious Pokémon here. It's name is Pecharunt and it's a Lv. 88 Poison/Ghost type. You'll need to defeat it in battle Titan-style before you can catch it. Once you take it out, you'll have a guranteed catch, so choose whichever type of ball you'd like.
After you've taken out Pecharunt the curse on everyone will be lifted. Everyone will come to and have things explained to them and you'll wake up the next morning in the Community Center. Everyone will say their thank yous and goodbyes and the epilogue will be wrapped up.
That concludes the final chapter of the Scarlet & Violet DLC and everything there is to do in the game story-wise. Thus, that concludes this walkthrough. Congrats and thanks for playing through the game with us!
